Rapper Cardi B shocked fans when she posted on her Instagram page that after over a year of marriage, she and husband Offset, 1/3 of the rap trio Migos, were going their separate ways.

There you go..peace and love

A post shared by CARDIVENOM (@iamcardib) on

The 42-second clip was captioned with the simple phrase, "There you go..peace and love."

Under the post, soon-to-be ex-husband Offset simply commented, "Y'all won."

It didn't take long before Black Twitter turned the two-word response into the joke of the week.

One user couldn't help but attribute the phrase to activist DeRay McKesson's now-viral photo of him posing without his iconic Patagonia blue vest.

Another couldn't help but wonder what exactly we ever did.

But hey, at least we all now have a scapegoat for when we eff up: y'all.

Someone went ahead and turned "Ya'll won" into Offset's soon-to-be-released single with a famous feature.

For members of the Blavity fam gearing up for finals, some of y'all can relate to this.

The news of the breakup doesn't come as a shock to most since it was rumored well before the Bronx-born rapper and "Stir Fry" lyricist tied the knot that he had been unfaithful to his girl. Therefore, "y'all won" is incorrect given no one on Al Gore's internet told Offset to go out and cheat on his then-fiancée.

On the bright side, it looks like the online community is sticking by Cardi's side, sending her positive thoughts and already readying themselves for her comeback.
