Michael B. Jordan is a Vanity Fair cover guy!

While his good looks and Killmonger performance are two of the top conversations topics about the actor, the rumor he only dates white women is one discussion that just won't go away. Those who believe the rumor were given new ammunition when paparazzi caught him on a boat with a white woman while he was vacationing in Italy, much to the chagrin of the Creed II star.

Jordan jumped on social media, and his defense of himself, in which he compared women to milk, didn't go down to well with many fans.

“Navigating and learning how to deal with this shit, there’s nobody that really helped me,” the actor told Vanity Fair.

Apparently, though, that's changed a bit. It turns out, not only is Will Smith your favorite Instagram follow, but he also recently took the time to mentor the Fahrenheit 451 star on dealing with rumors swirling around his dating and sexuality.

During the interview, Jordan also spoke about living as a celebrity, and being compared to people like Denzel Washington and Tom Cruise.

“These people you see with these legacies, they don’t ever talk about what they sacrificed to get there,” he said. “People think these things just happen. It’s not like that. They give up so much of their personal life, their love life, whatever, this, that, and personal things.”

The actor also took time to announce that he no longer plans to be just an actor: he's prepping to direct and has big hopes for his new production company.

“I want to create projects for Brad Pitt, but at the same time I want to be able to create a movie for Will Smith, or Denzel, or Lupita, or Tessa,” he said. “It’s gonna be eclectic. It’s gonna be animation. It’s gonna be non-scripted. It’s gonna be digital. It’s gonna be film, television. It’s gonna be video games.”
