Victor A. Kwansa, Esq. is a Ghanaian-American writer and attorney from Prince George’s County, Maryland. He received a B.A. in Political Science from Yale University in 2008, and he graduated from Harvard Law School in 2011. Victor is a Blackhouse Foundation Facebook SEEN Black Filmmakers Program Participant, and he was also a finalist for Lena Waithe's Hillman Grad Mentorship Lab Writing Track. His poetry and essays have been featured in Essence magazine, The Huffington Post, and Blavity. Overall, Victor tells stories that explore the complex past, present, and future of Black life.
